I wanted a blog for the website so I can make some thoughts public, hold myself to account, link from social media etc.

After about 10 minutes reading up on options for a blog in a firebase-hosted website (Hugo?), I decided to just build it and manage it myself. I believe it's a fairly simple workflow for now. Time will tell.

With my method, there is the added appeal that there are steps I can see that can be fairly easily automated. Who knows, this time next year I may have built a blogging tool. And it would only be about 25 years too late to be a cool idea!
